Dear Mom,
We're back in the season of fog in the valley in the morning, and cobwebs in the grass covered in dew.

Love,
Ruth

Dear Ruth,

If you were trying to explain how spinach can change color when cooked, you could use this image as a perfect example. I look at your tree, and think,
"spinach!"

Then again, maybe because it's been so busy here with Guy fixing the AC unit, and a million trips up and down the stairs being a good go-fer, and missing lunch.... I'm really hungry.

Send some cobweb shots soon.

Did you see on last night's news about the trees in a small town in Texas that were covered in cobwebs? A huge amount of spiders got together and are working like a colony of ants, and have covered this huge area with webs... it was amazing.

I loved your photo. I will be able to think of something other than spinach next time I look at it. Love, mom
