It didn't come up again, so this almost what I said before:
I love the fluff-- is it a Queen Anne's Lace drying out? and I love how it is so much like spider webs in the grass on fall mornings. I love how your floor is the perfect background color, one that professionals are always trying to capture with their backdrop cloths and papers, but you just have your backdrop underfoot every day.
Thanks for the image that is in the same color tones as your knitting. No wonder those colors of yarns appealed to you. There is such grace in subtlety.
