What was I thinking. It is very early in the morning here--- I got the close-up of Descent myself.

Dear Mom, The bottom part of Descent is copper--it's an electroformed bit of crocheted cotton string. I had made a few of those back in Seattle, but hadn't yet done anything with them.
Both brooches have dead wasps in them. Just luck of the draw, really, that each one had one in there tight enough to stay. Nothing is hatching, trust me. Love ruth

Have you done anything to those white egg cells so they won't hatch?
Send close up of Descent. Can't tell what is the descending part, wool or beads. Either way, it's good.
