Dear Mom,
As people are forced to do out here in the boonies, we have done a bit of Christmas shopping online. When Ron did an amazon order, I was told not to look at any of the emails concerning it. Can do! And since a lot of items were coming from amazon sellers, we've been getting emails from them, and I expect strange boxes to start showing up. Yesterday one did. But Ron didn't recognize it, and I didn't recognize it, but it was addressed to me, so we ended up opening it like it was a bomb. I peeled back the packing tape and held my face away and closed my eyes, and Ron peeked in. "I have no idea what that is," he said. What? You don't? I am going to have to look and ruin a surprise? So I looked. And then we were both confused for a minute. I wasn't expecting slippers til Christmas!
Now I have sleeping bags for my tootsies. The funny thing is since they are so short for my little feet, they are proportioned like elephants' feet. Or, actually, they look like camel feet. (Not to be confused with camel toe, which is a totally different affliction.) And they feel like how I imagine camels' feet to feel. WARM.

Do they fit ok? The size small was for 5 1/2 to 6 1/2, but if they are too short for you, exchange for size medium.
Maybe you just meant that your feet are small, which makes the booties look wider... actually, I saw the ones Karen had on, and they make everyone's feet look huge---but that isn't a problem if 1) they are a comfy fit and 2) they keep your feet warm!
I'm glad you were both surprised by them. Does Ron have cold feet too? Would he like a pair of camel feet? Not to be confused with the other kind, of course, which I know he already likes.
I got the cherry color because they were the hottest color they had, and I felt it was worth a few degrees of heat, if only to your eyes.

They fit perfectly, and I like the color.
Ron could probably use a pair too, although he doesn't have to spend as much time in the cold room as I do. Except yesterday he spent an hour or so on the computer, and got chilled, which at least made me feel not so deficient in the fact that I'm always cold.

Send me his shoe size and we'll get him a pair too. The place I got yours from is having a big sale. I'll send his early too, since it is cold now. Christmas gifts are good any time of year!
