Happy New Year! And Happy Bloggiversary!
As you know, we had a little bit of a rough start for the year up here on the hill, but I am on the mend and eventually Ron will be too. It's funny how once you screw up your system a cold always goes there--I have belly problems, and Ron gets that hacking cough. It is super cold here, and when I went out to get wood for the stove today I realized I hadn't been outdoors since New Year's eve.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday. I sure am looking forward to knitting this weekend. Ahhh, nothing seems better.

I hope you and Ron will soon be better... lots of people have come down with the post-holiday cold thingy. Carolyn at Duncaster who was in charge of taking dad's show down was on antibiotic--- got the cold from her 3 yr old granddaughter. I felt really sorry for her, as her eyes looked feverish ( the whites were gray). She was a woman who Fulfills Obligations, tho, and she managed to be very pleasant and helpful.
Your vista looks very cold. It has been cold here too. I've been a bit distracted with the laundry debacle, but all is done except the door scenario, and we are making headway on the upstairs sink fix. Nice thing is, the longer I spend thinking on it, the less I am changing.
