Dear Mom,
Today it was in the 60s! It broke all sorts of records.
I did a bunch a smaller to-do tasks today: finished watching the netflix DVD so we could return it, knitting some on my Lake Effect scarf, proofreading, photoshoots of jewelry, photoshopping, posting new pieces to etsy, getting a package ready to mail out, writing bills, doing laundry, ordering the digital camera while there is a free printer rebate, learning how to drive the tractor, and working in the studio. Easy dinner of potstickers and ramen soup, and tv watching with a little more knitting. Phew!
Love,
Ruth

Dear Ruth,

Wow.... I'd say that was a very good day! I love having productive task-days like that!! Kudos to you.

I will be thinking of you and Ron if I go up to Sturbridge today... I need to get some buttons for the baby sweater at Wright's Mill Store. I am not really happy with the ones I got at JoAnn's yesterday. I need ones with a shank, and it would be nice if I could find plain slightly rounded on top mint green ones, with a shank. Alas, that seems to be asking too much of modern America these days, which I find quite discouraging.

Today is the first knitting group since the holiday break. I never did get flyers up, so I don't imagine many will show up. It might just be me and Holly again. Tomorrow is Ashford's group, and Thurs the plumber installs the bathroom sink vanity. Sunday Jim comes to see about fixing the laundry doors. Things are getting done, but are still strung out. I have to reschedule my thurs haircut, and call FedEx to deliver our package today... they left a card at across the street yesterday, even tho we were home. I don't know how they can miss #17, since the numbers are on our house, not theirs. It was the delivery of the LaCie cord.

Hope you have another terrific day!!

Love, mom xoxoxo
