Dear Mom, The Buffalo news tonight specifically said Andover was going to have a low temperature tonight of -12. I think that's the first time they've mentioned Andover. Man, and it's for something like that! Brrr! Love, Ruth

Boy, it's going to be cold at your house. I hope Ron is home and you are tucked in tight.
The weather folks here have been pretty excited by another snow coming in. The stations are vying with each other to see who nails the forecast for tonight... wait, they're not, that's what dad is doing...
It was a very good day today, calm, and I got Nema's poems written and sent to Ted and he posted them all over the house. I didn't tell them that I ran up and down the stairs 10 times before I sat down to write them, which I think makes for a great brain flushing. It was hard coming up with 10 different ditties, and I forgot to do one about the birthday suit. Dang. I always like the birthday suit ones.
Wouldn't it be magical if chilblains would disappear when it got below zero? Sort of along the line of " it's too cold to snow" Yep, too cold for chilblains. And I don't mean that feeling of warmth when you start to freeze solid, either. Something on the line of a mobius strip, and suddenly being too cold is right next to being too hot.
