Dear Mom,
I'm back, I promise. The late-winter blahs took their hold and I couldn't get rid of them.
Last week the snow was slowly melting, and in the back yard all these orbs appeared.

Love,
Ruth

Dear Mom,
Snowball fights like fairy rings. (Actually, I think they must be from where the dog walked--it compressed the snow enough to make everything else melt around them.) It only lasted a day, and I've never seen them before. It was pretty magical.

Ruth

Dear Ruth,

I think they are magical too... like the way the sky can have cloud formations that only happen once, ever.

However, we mustn't rule out the cleverness of Tucker, who could probably make those balls with his nose. I can see him being all smug sitting by the window while you took the picture, saying to himself, " well, she finally NOTICED." Tucker is good with secrets.

Love, mom

Dear Mom,
It would definitely be awesome if Tucker put things other than poo in his mouth while he's out in the yard.

Ruth
