Dear Mom, For the second time this week, I received an email from a boutique I work with letting me know they're closing.
This economy is a drag.

Gosh, Dad and I are really sorry to hear that. These are really tough times for millions of small businesses.
The trickle down theory that Reagan was so proud of only seems to work in this direction--- when the big guys play goof-ball and screw up the country's investment systems, THEN there is trickle down. We seem to be able to share in their losses but not their wins.
We love you no matter what. And give our love to the birthday boy too. Hope you both manage to have a celebration in keeping with the mature and creative people that you are.
