Dear Mom,
On Sunday, we took a scenic drive to Chattanooga to see the Lesley Dill show at the Hunter Museum. It was a lovely day. Chattanooga is very cute, more so than I expected.

The museum is part mansion, part 70s architecture, part new architecture:

The river goes right through the city, and you might see paddle boats:

and people in the park enjoying the nice weather:

And if you're really lucky, and looking close, you might see a painting of Dad from the 1800s:

Ruth

Dear Ruth,

What?? No picture of a Chattanooga Choo Choo?

Actually, those pictures were really neat.... and the one about dad made me smile. So did the one of the family sprawled out on the winter grass.

Does the paddle boat stay docked there, or does it actually go under that bridge? Looks like the smoke stack would be a tight squeeze.

The Hunter Museum looks interesting. I don't think I've seen such unusual parts trying to unify before.

Love, mom xoxoxo

Dear Mom,
No, no choo choo, as we never saw it. I don't have any idea where it is! I don't know if the Delta Queen moves or not; that's a good question. There were a few other tourist-y boats on the river, but the DQ was docked.

The Hunter Museum was really nice, and had several patio/deck/terraces that you could go out on and sit on stools and look at the river.

Love,
Ruth
