Dear Mom,
Sunrise, sunset.
Sunrise, sunset.

Ron decided we should take Tucker for a walk at our old stomping grounds, Philips Creek.

It was not the easiest walk, to say the least. We have done it when the snow is up to our thighs, but this time a lot of the streams weren't fully frozen over. Man, were we wet and muddy by the time we were done. And as Ron put so eloquently, "I don't remember this taking so long." Oh yeah, we were on the long trail. But it does feel good to detox all the old air out of your body.

Love,
Ruth

Dear Ruth,

So where was the shot of Tucker being carried back by Ron?

Once again, your photos say a lot--- about the vista you live in, and the symmetry of trees. Beauty all around you.

Just as well you didn't have thigh-high snow while cleaning out your airways. As it was, did you remember to put your long johns on so you wouldn't freeze both ends at once?

Snow plow just went by, first one I've heard since last winter; it is otherwise very very quiet tonight.

Love,

mom
