Dear Ruth,
It's been really good having you and Ron here.
When I got home, Jack came over to the couch, where I had sat down to visit with dad, and I helped him up and he sat thinking about things in my lap for awhile, and then walked onto the couch cushion, turned, sort of slid/lay down while leaning into me as close as he could get, and settled into his super relaxed mode. I gave him a paw rub, which he didn't seem to mind in the least. He had the happy flops.
